About My Clients
Sarah’s main clientele consists of clients exploring their identity development and other life transitions.
My Background and Approach
Sarah is a third-year Counseling Psychology PhD student at Fordham University. Sarah’s practice is rooted in supporting social justice and marginalized communities, working to combat mental health disparities, and enhance psychological flexibility. She uses an intersectional, integrative, and multicultural approach, viewing the individual through a holistic lens to work collaboratively towards the client’s goals, utilizing aspects of CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sarah firmly believes in anti-racist, feminist, and equity issues. As a fourth-generation hapa-American (half-Chinese, half-White), she dedicates her personal and professional life towards exploring issues of racial, cultural, and generational identity.
