About My Clients

Do you sometimes feel like you are bad at being an adult? All of the "little" things required to function feel impossible to keep up with, so how are you ever supposed to get to those big goals and dreams you have? And how do others make it look so easy? The people I work with are vibrant and creative, yet often feel a deep sense of inner chaos, overwhelm, and shame just beneath the surface. If this is you, let's connect to talk about how I can help!

My Background and Approach

I am a therapist, a social worker, and a proud ADHDer. I am passionate about working with clients who are motivated (that doesn’t mean they don’t also struggle a LOT daily with motivation!) They want better for themselves despite sometimes feeling their brains are working against them. They also often resonate with characteristics of high levels of sensitivity. Imagine knowing exactly what to do the next time you feel overwhelmed, experiencing more ease and calm in daily life, leaning into your creative mind instead of constantly fighting it, having more confidence in your ability to work towards your goals, and embracing a life that feels both more functional and more fun. I have been so lucky to work with many ADHDers on this path and have seen that therapy and learning to work with your neurodivergence really DOES work. It isn’t always pretty or consistent or linear because that just isn’t what ADHD looks like, but change can and does happen.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Pissed off at all of the injustice, cruelty, and utter disregard for community and the greater good we are seeing in the world and especially under this administration? Me too. I strive to be a safe, inclusive, supportive presence for my clients as they work through the onslaught of daily news, explore their role in fighting for what is right, and try to protect their peace and joy. I believe building inner resilience is the first act of resistance and a necessary foundation for whatever we do to make the world a better place, whether that is organizing in our communities or simply finding a way to be silly and present with our loved ones. I am also learning with you. I don't pretend we can therapy our way out of this (well maybe if a few leaders got some therapy), but I do believe radical self-care is essential for whatever good fight you choose.
