About My Clients

Clients seeking a safe, affirming space to process trauma, navigate life’s challenges, and explore their identities will find compassionate support. Specializing in LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent-affirming care, therapy focuses on healing from difficult experiences, managing emotions, and challenging negative self-beliefs. With a social justice and systems-based lens, clients learn to build resilience, cultivate self-compassion, and create a life aligned with their values.

My Background and Approach

With experience providing trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent-affirming care, therapy is centered on creating a safe, inclusive space for healing and self-discovery. Specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy , Exposure with Response Prevention , Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing , Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy , therapy is tailored to help clients manage emotions, challenge negative beliefs, and build resilience. A social justice and systems-based approach acknowledges the impact of family, political, and economic systems on mental health, helping clients understand and reframe their experiences. Whether navigating trauma, anxiety, or life transitions, therapy provides skills to foster self-compassion, emotional regulation, and personal growth. Clients are supported at their own pace, offering multiple ways to process difficult experiences. For those interested, spirituality and nature can also be incorporated into therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Rooted in a commitment to social justice, inclusivity, and healing, therapy is guided by the belief that mental health is deeply connected to the systems we navigate. Passionate about supporting LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent communities, a safe and affirming space is prioritized for clients to explore their identities, process trauma, and reclaim their narratives. With a strong interest in decolonizing therapy and climate psychology, there is recognition of how historical, environmental, and systemic factors impact mental well-being. Beyond therapy, engagement in land and lineage relationships, archaeology, and community remembrance projects reflects a dedication to honoring the past while fostering resilience in the present. Whether incorporating spirituality, mindfulness, or connection with nature, clients are encouraged to integrate what is meaningful to them in their healing process. The goal is to create a collaborative space where clients feel empowered, and supported.
