Do you want to parent while also healing your parental wounds (especially your mother wound) If you want an integrative space, with a social justice focus while reducing your anxiety, depression, or loss of self I can teach you tools to reengage with your authentic and grounded self.
My Background and Approach
There is space for you here! I am a first-generation Latinx bilingual licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in first-generation issues, perinatal and reproductive health, parenting, and those struggling with life transitions. I am passionate about working with BIPOC folks and the LGBTQ community. I focus in working with woman-identified people, pregnant parents, and those exploring mother and parental relationships. I am a 200 RYT registered yoga teacher and bring movement and mindfulness into therapy. My goal is to support clients by centering their experiences and truths. I help people find their way back to themselves I often work with folks who are healing their relationships and/or setting boundaries with their parents, or making sense of their childhood experiences. I use top down and bottom up approaches (talk therapy, somatic etc. My style of therapy is warm, non-judgmental, affirming, and centered on empowerment and anti-oppressive practices.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I aim to co-create a supportive and safe environment where you can explore, identify, and challenge. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and an openly queer therapist , and I incorporate an awareness of oppression and social justice into my work. I use a holistic approach, and bring in pieces of intergenerational healing and resilience
