My Background and Approach
As a therapist and someone who regularly engages in her own therapy, I know how intimidating it can be. My goal is to keep things as relaxed and comfortable as possible, while creating a space where difficult topics can be discussed. I am direct and want you to be aware of the process every step of the way because this is YOUR life! I use individualized approaches based on your needs. I often utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I am always open to feedback and want you to feel free to challenge me as much as I may challenge you.
