About My Clients
I specialize in working with children and adolescents. Using a client-centered, strengths-based approach to play therapy, I create a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental space where children feel empowered to explore their emotions and world. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in working with clients at all stages of life. I work with adults in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. Please visit my website for more details about my approach.
My Background and Approach
With extensive experience supporting children and teenagers, I strive to be a voice for those who may feel unheard. I enjoy and have experience working with neurodivergent children, as I believe in recognizing and honoring their unique perspectives & needs. In my work with younger children, I believe that play is the natural language of a child, and an essential tool for connection. As your therapist, I invite you to explore the parts of yourself that may feel unfamiliar, as I believe the answers you seek are already within you. I will honor your experiences while gently guiding you to uncover deeper layers of self-understanding. Together, we will explore the ways trauma has impacted your nervous system, body, and sense of self, working to understand and process these parts of your experience. I also incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help you slow down, stay present, and cultivate greater awareness and self-compassion.
