You are the expert on your needs and emotions, and I believe when you feel empowered and connected you will find your way. It is possible to develop confidence & kindness towards yourself. Let’s work together to create a space where you can be & unearth your truest self. When you feel ready to embark on the journey towards awareness and connection, I will be here to walk by your side.
Clients come to me because they feel ready for something to change, but they're unsure of how to take the next step. Together, we reflect on what's been holding them back, and consider what it might take to get to a healthier place. I work primarily with couples and families to improve communication patterns and strengthen relationships. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens, we explore the roots of why we do what we do and consider new ways of moving forward through life.
I work with children who have a range of difficulties across all spectrums of social, emotional, and behavioral needs and diagnoses. In addition, I work with parents of special needs children, helping parents in how to parent their unique child, as well as individual therapeutic issues that may have arisen since becoming a parent. I also work with divorcing couples on how to co-parent their child. Finally, I work with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or life transitions.
My clients are curious about themselves and the world, take an active part in therapy, and want to make positive changes. They are open to learning new things, even if that might sometimes be challenging. Often, they are connected to marginalized communities whose mental health is impacted by societal factors. Those looking to address depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief, self-esteem, stress, and/or gender identity would be a good fit. I work with youth and adults ages 12+.
