About My Clients
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by emotional pain? Perhaps you're struggling to break free from old patterns. I offer a safe, supportive space where individuals and couples feel truly heard and understood. As an experienced psychotherapist and couples counselor, I bring warmth and curiosity to our work together. Through our sessions, we’ll explore your story, identify limiting beliefs, and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My Approach to Helping
My approach is warm, attentive, collaborative, respectful, challenging, and creative with the purpose of helping clients find deeper fulfillment, connection, and growth. I have experience working with couples and individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with relationship difficulties, co-dependency, low self-concept, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and chronic stress. My approach is integrative as I tailor my evidence-based interventions to each client’s unique needs. My training includes aspects of relational psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, neurobiology, and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and 10 years of experience in clinical therapeutic settings.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe that starting therapy is a courageous step—one that can lead to transformation in ways you might not have imagined. When you become curious about your inner world, you start to see how unconscious patterns may be holding you back from fully embracing your authentic self. Therapy provides a space to gently uncover these blocks, bringing greater self-understanding, a sense of relief, and a deeper connection to both yourself and the world around you.
