My typical clients seeking assessments are late-diagnosed adults who are on a quest for self-discovery within the realm of neurodivergence. Many have faced the frustration of previous misdiagnoses, while others carry a hunch based on their own research or discussions with peers. This diverse group consists of individuals who range from being comfortable with self-diagnosis to those who yearn for the validation and precision that a professional assessment can provide.
I work well with clients who are looking for deeper change than they've found in other types of therapy or self help. I have particular experience in working with: LGBTQIA folks People in Polyamorous or Consensually Non Monogamous relationships Survivors of sexual abuse Survivors of trauma New parents Couples and people in relationships People recovering from abusive relationships
My clients are professionals, entrepreneurs, parents and holders of many identities struggling to show up in a way that's consistent with their values. Whether individuals or couples, most of my clients are seeking to be more fully themselves. I work with folks navigating relationships that run the gamut from the one with themselves, the one with their child(ten), to decades-long marriages to ethical non-monogamy.
You may have been dealing with anxious or distressing thoughts and feelings for a while now, but are finally noticing that they are unmanageable. This may look like loops in your thoughts and feelings, reliving past trauma, broken relationships, or feeling like your needs are never met. Rather than participating in life, it may feel like you’re just going through the motions. I work best with folks who are motivated to change but who feel unsure how to start that process.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples, regardless of gender, navigate life's challenges. Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, work stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to support you. I work closely with clients who wish to reduce feelings of distress, improve their relationships, and feel empowered to problem solve. I see people as part of their ‘systems’; their history, family, culture, beliefs, current relationships and jobs…it’s an ecology, so any changes can improve the whole. I also enjoy working with families with members of all ages to increase communication and feelings of safety and acceptance through an attachment based, emotionally focused lens.
You’re feeling stuck in familiar patterns of shame and self-criticism, and it’s hard to tap into your strengths when you need them most. Whether it's the weight of anxiety or the impact of prejudice and discrimination, especially toward the LGBTQ+ community, it feels overwhelming and you feel vulnerable and out-of-touch with your own voice. You’re ready for help and deserve support as you take steps toward healing and growth—you don’t have to go through this alone.

Do you worry constantly, feel on edge or have a persistent fear of failure or judgment? Feel like you’re not good enough, not living the life you want to live, or that you’ve lost touch with the things that bring you contentment with little hope that you can live life in a fulfilling way? Have you had a traumatic experience that left you feeling disconnected and having a hard time trusting people, with the need to protect and numb yourself? If so, I may be able to help.
Between and within humans, multiple perspectives exist, and what is discovered depends on how observing happens. This understanding has led to my intense compassion for human suffering, and delight in the unique paths forged. It is possible to ultimately drop attachments contributing to suffering, in order to experience the innately loving conscious beings we are. Here the focus is less on "right and wrong" and more on the wise discernment of what ACTUALLY contributes to suffering.
There are so many reasons why people seek therapy. It could be a life transition, anxiety, depression, divorce, blended families or tough teenagers. Sometimes in life people lose a sense of who they truly are and seek to find what more accurately reflects them. Overall, most people are looking for a space to process and make meaning of life experiences, behaviors and reactivity. I have been fortunate to work with people of these life experiences.
As an EMDR trained and IFS informed clinician, my specialty is the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety and dissociative disorders in adults and adolescents. I strive to create a calming, safe space and have a more gentle approach, though I will challenge you to do very hard work at a pace that feels safe for you. Compassion, curiosity, and mindfulness are some of my favorite tools.
Some have just been lifestyle bombed , the love of their life seeming to say they’re not enough. Others, having taken the leap can’t seem to stop fighting. Feeling isolated, scared, tired, and like they're going to lose everything. Take a moment to imagine your life as it could be in a few months. You are in love, all over again. With your partner(s), yourself, and how you live. Accepted for who you are, allowed to love in a way that feels natural, you are excited in your new life.
