About My Clients
I work with adults as individuals, couples, and polycules. Additionally, I have special training around and experience in working with kink, non-monogamy, gender diversity, neurodiversity, chronically ill folks, and queer communities. While I am always seeking opportunities to learn and grow in relation to supporting underserved groups, the experiences you hold will be centered in our work together.
My Background and Approach
The way I approach therapy is built around the idea that no one exists alone. The way we are now is a result of the relationships, experiences, and connections we've had throughout our lives. Sometimes this means our work will be focused on how experiences from the past are affecting you today. It can also look like us exploring your interactions with important folks in your life and identifying strengths and challenges. And occasionally we'll spend our time troubleshooting how to talk to yourself with compassion. I started working with clients in 2016 and have spent the years between then and now exploring many different facets of humanity. I have received much supervision and education around gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, chronic health, relationships, and trauma. My experiences include working in college counseling centers, the VA (outpatient, inpatient, and residential programs), hospitals, community health centers, and private practices that focus on gender and sexuality.
